1. The Ministry Of Natural Resources Energy and Mining – Department of Energy Affairs has budgeted resources from MAREP funds in the financial year 2018-19 towards the cost of implementing various interventions in rural electrification and it intends to apply part of the funds towards payment under the contract for supply and delivery of 1 (one) 30 Seater Min Bus and 3 (three) Folk Lift Truck
2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee, Ministry of Natural Resources Energy and Mining-Department of Energy Affairs, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of the following:

3. Bidder must quote for all items in the lot. In the event that no bidder quote for all items, the purchaser reserves the right to split the award.
4. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in accordance with the Public Procurement & Disposal of Asserts Law and Regulations of the Government of the Republic of Malawi, and open to all bidders.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document from the Procurement and Disposal Unit at the address given below at paragraph 9(a) below from 08:00 to 12:00; 13:00 to 16:00 hours local time (Monday to Friday, except national public holidays and weekends.)
6. Qualification required include: minimum of three (3) years in the overall experience of the film in the supply of similar Goods. Additional details are proven in the bidding documents.
7. A complete set of bidding documents in English language mat be purchased by interested bidders at the address below at paragraph 9(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK5, 000.00 or its equivalent in freely convertible currency at the address at paragraph 9 (b) in cash office room no. 223. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 9 (c) on or before 20^th June, 2019, 14:00 hours local time. Electronic bidding will be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below 9(d) on 20^th June, 2019, at 14:00 hours local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of MK1, 000,000.00 or bid security declaration form for firms 100 % owned by Malawians. The bid security must be in form of bank certified cheque or bank guarantee issued by reputable bank and agreeable to the purchaser.
