INVITATION FOR BIDS

  • Blantyre District Council has budgeted funds from the Recurrent Transactions (ORT) to be used for supply and delivery of goods and provision of services for the fiscal year 2019/20 under framework agreement for a period of 12 months and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders.
  • The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposable Committee, Blantyre District Council, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for procurement of goods and services as specified below:

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with open tendering procedures as specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2003, Procurement Regulations and Law of the Republic of Malawi.

  • Interested bidders may obtain the bidding document by paying non-refundable fee of MK10, 000.00 at Blantyre District Councils Offices located at New Government Offices. Method of payment shall be cash.
  • Bids must be delivered to the address shown below (in a tender box) on or before 23rd July 2019, at 14:00 hours local time. Late bids shall not be accepted and bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders, or their representatives who may choose to attend to opening ceremony at the address below on 23rd July, 2019 at 14:00 hours local time.
  • Interested bidders may obtain further information from Blantyre District Councils office from 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00 hours local time from Monday to Friday except national public holidays and weekends.
