REHABILITATION WORKS TO THE SUPREME COURT OF APPEAL BUILDING AT CHICHIRI IN BLANTYRE


The Government of the Republic of Malawi through the Malawi Judiciary intends to rehabilitate Supreme Court of Appeal building at Chichiri in Blantyre.

The Malawi Judiciary invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders who are currently registered in the 500 Million Malawi Kwacha and above category for Building with the National Construction Industry Council of Malawi (N.C.I.C).

Description of Works: Rehabilitation works to the Supreme Court of Appeal building at Chichiri in Blantyre.

Bidding documents will be available upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK 10, 000.00, from 12th September, 2022. Payment should be in cash. Bidding document may be purchased from:

Sealed bids should be returned to The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal of Asset Committee, Judiciary, Chipembere Highway, Opposite Trade Fair Grounds, Blantyre 3 before 14:00hrs local time on Wednesday, 12th October, 2022. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. Bidders and/or their representatives and members of the general public, may attend the opening of the bids at 14:30 hrs local time on Wednesday, 12th October, 2022 at Chichiri Court Premises, Chipembere Highway, Opposite Trade Fair Grounds, Chichiri, Blantyre 3, New Building Auditorium (Next to the reception).

Please note that bidding documents will have to be collected in person and no document will be sent by email under any circumstances.

It is the responsibility of each Bidder to ensure that bids are submitted in accordance with “Instructions To Bidders” in the bidding documents, as non-compliance to the instructions will lead to disqualification and rejection of the bid.

The Malawi Judiciary does not bind itself to accept the lowest or pay bid, but reserves the right to exercise choice of the lowest evaluated and substantially responsive bid in accordance with what it considers to be in its best interest.
