INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. Zomba District Council has budgeted funds in its 2018/19 budget and intends to enter into a framework agreement for the supply and delivery of various items, provision of motor vehicle and motorcycle maintenance and printing services for period of 12 months.
2. The Chairperson, Internal Procurement and Disposal Committee (IPDC), now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to enters into a framework agreement contract, as below:

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance to National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act, 2017.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from the Procurement & Disposal Unit Room 3 at Zomba District Council from Monday to Friday from 07:30 am to 16:00 pm except in national public holidays.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at 8(a) below upon payment of non-refundable fee of MK10, 000.00 at 8(b) for framework agreement bids only. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheque. The document shall be collected by the bidder.
6. Sealed bids must be delivered to the address 8(c) below on or before 12th November, 2018 at 14:00 hours local time. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids shall be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below in 8(d) below.
